Juniper Cove

A very stunning photo. I love the color and contrast, the silhouette of the trees usually makes for a flatened image, but the background and distant landscape on the hoizion being lighter than the trees gives it great depth and really adds to the composistion. The small boat in the mid-ground really adds to the exspance and perspective of the photograph. I love this photo and all it contains, but for some reason my eye is repeatadley draw to the foreground mass. Wondering if its low-tide wet beach, is it remanence of a wave that is retreating, or is it a lake and the water is very low. I love your Sunsets Rose, look forward to seeing more. Would like to see this one again with just a little less of the forgroud mass.
