 Awww, he's so cute!...and helpless. I always feel bad for birds when this happens cause even if the mother finds it, she can't get it back up in the nest...it's stuck on the ground. I sure hope the little guy made it. Excellent shot Rose...so clear and sharp! Too bad you didn't know where the nest was, you could have put the little guy back. There are lots of ways without touching them...but to a large degree, I don't really believe that old wives tale about how a mother bird will kill it's baby if you've touched it and it smells you.
